no computer

yet again

long time between posts... in trying to set up a wireless network around the house i managed to fry my motherboard - or so i assume because the computer wont turn on anymore

i had completely been deprived of the internet for 3 days... and i couldnt even listen to my computer. now my harddrive is totally inaccessible and the only gateway to the internet is guarded by my dads laptop.

all this after i just bought an mp3 player
such is luck, im starting to wish i went on amsa this year... yes the convention dudes are back and i feel like ive missed out on a significant rites of passage for med students. oh what am i to do? my liver must be virginal compared to theirs...

i have decided that next year at amsa, im going to make for 2 years of drinking

slowed to a crawl

the reason why i havent been posting the last week is that i was capped! excessive downloading... damn optus

placed back on 14.4kbps connection speed *shudder* the only thing i could do was use messenger. even checking mail took eons. yes i know i have been spoilt. but i did have to beg for a long time before i got this cable, so i feel it as my duty to make the most of it.

but alas the time away from the wonders of the world wide web allowed me to reaquaint myself with classic computer games such as minesweeper and pinball ^__________^

but through all this brain melting exercise i have decide that i will find myself some culture in this city, and i intend to go to the impressionist exhibition at the gallery on sunday. that is, if i cant get tickets to spiderman...
